Experienced and enthusiastic French native tutor (from beginners to advanced / children and adults learners)
I am a French native speaker. I come from Toulouse, in the South of France, the historic site of the French aeronautics and space industry with Airbus Group’s HQ. It is also well known for its food (cassoulet, foie gras …) and its 2 UNESCO World Heritage Sites (Canal du Midi and Basilique St. Sernin).
My private lessons are customised to each student’s individual needs and designed to be fun and interactive. I work in a comfortable and relaxed environment.
My current students are from all ages (from 8 to 72 years old), from beginners to A Level, children and adult learners and from all cultural and religious backgrounds. They live in different places (Bristol, London, Swansea, Plymouth, Leicester, Birmingham, Manchester, Hull and France as well). They are British, Kenyan, Chinese, South African, New Zealander. I relate to them very well, I put them at ease. They appreciate my happiness and my sense of humour. That’s why they don’t look upon their lessons as traditional ones.
Learning a language can be tough, especially French with all its rules, exceptions and spellings. For this reason, they really appreciate my ability to use the right words and provide simple and clear explanations. The most important is to keep things interesting and entertaining. I deliver quality teaching, giving informative, educational classes with e-mail follow up. I always prepare very thoroughly my lessons in advance and they are well structured. After few lessons, they are already seeing the benefit.
I am an excellent communicator, an extremely enthusiastic and positive classroom practitioner who encourages students of all abilities to achieve fantastic results. Their grades are getting better! They are able to hold a conversation and as a result, they feel more confident in public speaking.
I am patient and motivational. I have a great understanding of how to keep them engaged during the lessons.
Passionate about this profession, I seek continuous improvement. I have a positive mindset and I always do my very best for students. I am able to maximise their potential, in recognising that every student is unique and learns in different ways.
I teach online, either one to one or in small groups. Online lessons are as valuable as traditional ones. I use different app (Skype …).
